# Release QA — Action Boundary Brief

## Local visual review — 2026-08-27

The static preview rendered the intended **Decision Relay** composition at desktop scale: a warm-paper, cobalt, and rust system; readable asymmetric hero; original five-gate SVG; compact route navigation; and a clear fictional walkthrough boundary. The opening content visibly states that the skill is open-source, model-neutral, and pre-action, while the relay caption clarifies that it does not score a workflow or turn a checklist into permission.

The showcase gives the reader a usable sequence—intended outcome, resource envelope, decision right, interruption, and review record—without collecting input or making a real-time recommendation. The walkthrough is limited to prewritten fictional cases. This keeps the public page an educational and implementation aid rather than a decision engine.

## Static checks

| Check | Result |
|---|---|
| Reusable brief structure | Passed with `python3 scripts/validate_boundary_brief.py templates/action-boundary-brief.md` |
| Site source, canonical, citations, and prohibited runtime patterns | Passed with `node scripts/validate-static.mjs` |
| Prewritten walkthrough and accessible menu source paths | Passed with `node scripts/test-site-js.mjs` |
| Local skill package schema | Passed with `python3 /home/ubuntu/skills/skill-creator/scripts/quick_validate.py action-boundary-brief` |

## Remaining release checks

The source was published to the dedicated public repository at commit `e9f6a33`. GitHub Pages is enabled from the repository’s `main` branch and the platform reports status `built` at `https://virtualmase.github.io/action-boundary-brief/`. The published page rendered its title, source-linked method, original relay visual, reusable-template link, fictional walkthrough, and clear non-authorization boundary.

The GitHub integration token was unable to create the Pages site through the API, so the owner-authorized GitHub Pages setting was activated in the authenticated browser instead. This was a narrowly scoped publishing configuration: `main` plus repository root only, no custom domain, no DNS change, no analytics, and no changes to the root Virtualmase, AI Mastery, or ARM properties.

The production missing-route response at `https://virtualmase.github.io/action-boundary-brief/route-not-present` rendered the custom **Route not found — Action Boundary Brief** page and exposed its return link to the project-site root. The public normal and error paths are now verified.

## Identity, footer, and static discovery follow-up — 2026-08-27

The updated local preview rendered the new cobalt relay mark in the page header at a clearly readable scale while retaining the asymmetric editorial composition. The new 48×48 fallback icon was also checked independently and retained its distinct relay silhouette. Browser footer scrolling was not conclusive in this environment, so the updated footer’s grouped **Use**, **Inspect**, **Continue**, and **Correct** routes are checked by the static release validator as well as source inspection.

The pending release adds SVG and PNG favicon fallbacks, touch and manifest icons, a 1200×630 PNG social preview, complete Twitter/X metadata, accurate `WebSite`/`WebPage`/`SoftwareSourceCode` JSON-LD, `llms.txt`, lean canonical sitemap structure, and the property-specific operating footer. These controls improve machine-readable discovery and sharing context; they do not guarantee crawling, indexing, ranking, or social-card behavior.
